One fun fact about Shavertown is that it is home to the Pennsylvanian Triangle, which is a small area within the village that has allegedly experienced numerous UFO sightings over the years. The most notable sighting occurred in 1974, when multiple witnesses reported seeing a large, triangular-shaped object hovering over the triangle for several minutes before abruptly disappearing. The incident remains unexplained to this day, and has led to Shavertown being considered as somewhat of a UFO hotspot by some enthusiasts.
