Mount Union is a borough in Huntingdon County and has a population of approximately 2,500 people. It was founded in 1849 and was an important railroad hub during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The area is known for its production of clay products, and it is home to the largest brick plant in the world, owned and operated by the Glen-Gery Corporation. The town also has a historic district that features architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Additionally, the nearby Trough Creek State Park offers opportunities for outdoor recreation such as hiking, fishing, and camping.
