One fun and verifiable fact about the village of Swartzville, PA is that it was named after one of its early settlers, Henry Swartz. He was a cabinetmaker and blacksmith who settled in the area in the early 1800s. The village was originally known as Swartz's Mills, but over time it came to be called Swartzville. Today, the village is known for its beautiful landscape, historic architecture, and friendly people.
