Emmaus is a borough located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It has a population of approximately 12,000 people and covers an area of 2.8 square miles. Emmaus was settled in the early 18th century and was incorporated as a borough in 1859. Today, it is known for its historic downtown, which includes many unique shops and restaurants. Emmaus is also home to several parks and recreational facilities, including the Emmaus Community Pool and the Emmaus Public Library. Additionally, the borough is served by the East Penn School District, which includes several highly regarded schools.
