Abbottstown is a small village located in Adams County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is situated just east of Gettysburg and north of Hanover. The village has a rich history dating back to the 18th century when it was first settled by Swiss and German immigrants. Today, it is a friendly community with a population of just over 1,000 people.
