Matthew C. Scalise is the Broker-in-charge of Scalise Realty. Matt has 24 years of experience specializing in resort sales all along the Grand Strand where he has established himself as THE EXPERT in resort real estate. Through Matts role as an integral part of The Scalise Group, he has gained extensive knowledge in other areas including construction, development and vacation rentals.

Matt graduated from Myrtle Beach High School and The Citadel. He worked for Bank of America for several years where he gained valuable knowledge and experience as a consumer loan officer and commercial credit analyst. The valuable financial experience and knowledge Matt gained while in banking has served him well in his Real Estate career.

Matt has been actively involved in numerous charities and served on various boards in the Myrtle Beach community including homeowner association boards, architectural review boards, a bank advisory board, The American Red Cross Board, Mercy Hospice Board Chair, Bethany Christian Services and his childrens schools and church. He and his wife, Marian, an accomplished attorney, have a daughter, Margaret, attending Clemson University and a son, Matthew Jr., who graduated The Citadel and is currently attending the University of South Carolina Greenville Medical School.

Matt specializes in specializing in resort investments and residential, resort residential, condos and investment properties transactions.
