Andy Twisdale has been a Hilton Head area resident since 1971. He was selected 2013 and 1998 Realtor of the Yearand elected President of Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors in both 2000 and 2006. Andy hasreceived numerous Realtor and Vocational awards and was recognized asan Outstanding National School Volunteer. Andy believes in giving back. As a result, his community involvement includes being a member of the Second Helpings Board, the American Cancer Relay for Life Committee, Co - Chair and then Chair of the United Way Hilton Head Campaign, served on theBoard of Directors of the Beaufort County United Way for 4 years, and was aUnited Way of The Lowcountry volunteerfor 12 consecutive years.Andy wasa member of the Board of Directors of the Hilton Head Hospitality Association for 27 years, and has served on the Area Hospitality Associations Winefest Steering Committeefor 2008 - 2011. Andy has had the pleasure of serving on the Leadership Hilton Head/Bluffton Board of Regents from 2003 to 2007 and has been a member of the Leadership Hilton Head Alumni Association from 2000 - 2022. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Hilton Head Area Association of REALTORS from 1995 - 2009 and served on the Hilton Head Island Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2006 - 2012. 2014 .Admiral of the Yacht Hope for Hospice of the LowcountryAndy is the 2013 SC REALTOR Advocate of the Year. Served as a RPAC Trustee for the SC Association of Realtors 2009-2016. Chair of the South Carolina Competitive Alliance. Chair of Greater Island Council Goverment Policy committee 2011-2024.
