Having grown up a military Brat of a military Brat (term of endearment for a military child), I have a diverse background that has molded me into a passionate Realtor of the Low Country. As a military Brat, I grew up with people from all over the world & appreciated constantly meeting new people with different backgrounds & all had something I could learn from. When you grow up in a military town everyone you meet has lived in different places and chances are you will know them for a short time before they move to their next adventure. So, learning to constantly meet new people and form relationships that may last only a few years or may become the best long distance friend Ive ever had is something I cherish to this day. I understand people and want to help them find their happiest home yet whether its for a few years or a forever home.
I moved to the Low Country in 2016 and fell in love. There is something about having moved so much in my life that I look for the best qualities where Im living to get the best experience while I am there. When I moved here it was different..THIS is homemy FOREVER home. Beaches, boats, food, history, art, music, great schools, community events, yes we have it all! But for me its the people. We have people from all over, moving here that feel the same way about our area as I do. Once you vacation here a little piece of you stays & people always look to come back. If you are lucky enough, hopefully youll have the opportunity to come back as a homeowner.
Its funny because I also grew up with a mother thats a Realtor. Quite frankly the job never interested me. My mom has such a passion for her community and her people that real estate fits her like a glove. It wasnt until I moved here that I got it. Falling in love with a community is truly where the recipe starts for an amazing Realtor. SO here I am. Realtor Shannon Byard!!!
