My wife Rachel and decided to make Sumter our home after 16 years of
moving all over the United States coaching football at the collegiate and
professional level. My wife, Rachel Jones Brown was born and raised in Sumter
by her parents Jill and Dickie Jones. I have always known her hometown was special to her. Now my daughters and I are experiencing it with her. There are so many reasons this community is unique. Real estate will allow us to stay in Sumter and raise our two girls.
I grew up in Blairsville, Georgia and I was guided by my parents,
grandparents, and coaches. My parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were
small business owners and took great pride in serving the community. My sister and her family continue as 4th generation small business owners.
While coaching football I learned how to bring people together from all
different walks of life, and I had to recruit in big cities and small farming
towns. I have recruited in San Diego beside the Pacific Ocean, Savannah,
Georgia where you could see the tide waters of the Atlantic, and most states
between. There are so many different people in the United States and I truly
enjoyed getting to know them, and bringing them together to form a team.
My family has experienced moving over 13 times, and the power of a
