Six Mile is a small town located in Pickens County in the northwestern part of South Carolina. It is named after its distance along the Old Keowee Path, which is a historic Native American trail that runs for approximately 165 miles from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Savannah River. Six Mile is a quiet and peaceful community with beautiful natural scenery and outdoor recreational opportunities, such as hiking and fishing. The town also has a rich history, having been settled by European immigrants in the 1700s and being the site of important Civil War battles.
