Stephanie Rooks began her real estate career over seventeen years ago after having a twelve-year career as an IT professional (Systems Engineer/Network Administrator). She started out as a buyer looking for her personal home and found the homebuying process fascinating. She obtained her real estate license while her home was being built. She is a full-time real estate professional licensed in Tennessee (serving Shelby, Tipton, and Fayette counties) and Mississippi (serving Desoto and Marshall counties).
Early in her real estate career, she worked in new home sales assisting buyers in their selection of everything from brick to wall colors. She also helped many sellers to avoid foreclosure as a short sale specialist. Stephanie is a relocation specialist helping newcomers find a home, so in two to three years they can sell it for top dollar. She has experience in working with first time homebuyers with knowledge of many down payment assistance programs. She especially enjoys working with sellers to get their homes SOLD! She holds a special place in her heart to work with families to sell heir property as well as assisting seniors with their real estate needs.
She recently earned the nationally recognized Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation which specializes in serving the 55+ homebuyers and sellers. Working with seniors to meet their housing needs requires an expert understanding of their lifestyle and financial needs.
