Alexander Bynum is a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin where he has a degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Alexander started his career in real estate in 2010.
He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Tennessee REALTORS and Central West Tennessee Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the Multiple Listing Services which include the Reelfoot Regional Association of Realtors, Central West Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the Tennessee Valley Association of Realtors.
In 2015 he was nominated and elected to be the 2016 Central West Tennessee Association of Realtors President. Alex has been on different committees for the Central West Tennessee Association which includes the Budget Committee, MLS Committee, Personnel Committee, Strategic Committee, Advertising/Public Relations Committee, Government Affairs/RPAC Committee, Board of Directors Committee, and the Nominating Committee. Alex is also on committees for Tennessee REALTORS which include the Nominating Committee, the Budget & Finance Committee and the CEO Selection Committee.
Alex then added becoming a member of the Broker Involvement Council for 2017-2019 for the Tennessee REALTORS. He regularly attends REALTOR Conventions staying abreast of changes being made, voicing any thoughts and ideas along the way.
Alex is an RPAC Presidential Circle Golden R Investor and continues to work hard to be the voice for REALTORS across Tennessee. As a member of the Tennessee REALTORS Brand Task Force he helped change the REALTOR Brand. In 2016 Alex reached his highest achievements thus far, he was given the Tennessee REALTOR Presidential Award, he became the Principal Broker of Wendell Alexander Realty, and he became a father.
Alex is active in his community as well. He is a member of the Dresden Rotary Club, Officer in the Dresden Elks Lodge, the Weakley County Economic Development Board, Weakley County Young Professionals, a former West Tennessee Star Farmer, an active alumnus of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and a Skyhawk Board Member. Alex also owns and operates his own cattle farm in Weakley County, Tennessee.
