After graduating from the University of Illinois, I pursued a teacher's certificate in English and speech. After teaching high school for a few years, the Development Office at the high school asked me to join them in their fundraising efforts for the school. I did exactly that, and decided that I liked it so much that I wanted to fund-raise at the university level. While working as the Director of Development for Student Affairs at Illinois State University, I completed my Master's Degree in College Student Personnel Administration. I traveled the states, meeting with alumni and soliciting funds for the school's first-ever capital campaign. I loved this job. Life, however, changed and I decided that it was time to start a family.

After staying at home with my kids for five years, it was time for me to return to work. I decided that my background would work well with real estate, so I got my license in 2006. My sales statistics have proven that my background was indeed a perfect match for this career. Since that time, I have grown to a team of four, and my business is driven primarily by word of mouth. Happy customers tell other happy customers, and I've had the privilege of working with many folks multiple times. Lifetime clients----what a beautiful thing!
