Bean Station is a small village located in Grainger County, Tennessee, with a population of around 3,000 people. It was established in the early 19th century and named after William Bean, a prominent local settler who established the first permanent settlement in Tennessee in the 1760s.
Bean Station is primarily an agricultural community that specializes in the cultivation of tobacco, corn, and soybeans. It also has a historic downtown area that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features a number of well-preserved buildings dating back to the 19th century.
