I love my job and helping my clients, whether they are first timers or have been on this journey numerous times. I am passionate about education and continue to learn it helps ensure I am providing the best service to my clients because real estate is an ever-changing world and staying up to date is crucial! I obtained my GRI (Graduate or Realtor Institute) certification and have also taken classes to qualify as a Veteran Land Board Participating Real Estate Professional to enable me to better assist my clients utilizing their Veteran benefits.
Being involved in the local community is important to me. I serve on several committees with Four Rivers Association of REALTORS, including Governmental Affairs to ensure your property rights are protected. I also volunteer my time and enjoy helping the parent teacher organizations and education foundation.
I was born and raised in central Texas and graduated from Seguin High School. I went to Texas Lutheran University in Seguin where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing and continued my education at LeTourneau University in Longview where I graduated with my Master of Business Administration degree.
My professional background includes experience in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Petroleum Landman and worked for the City of Seguin in the Economic Development Corporation. My time in the oil and gas industry allowed me to understand the chain of title and various deeds and instruments recorded with the local county. My experience in the Economic Development field included coordinating incentive packages and marketing the geographical area to businesses interested in locating in Seguin. I worked with various city and county departments to efficiently expedite permits, coordinate tax incentives and understand zoning and master plans. I have effectively maintained my relationships with those colleagues from the City of Seguin and Guadalupe County as well as those in the surrounding communities to facilitate relationships and streamline processes for all parties.
I am a member of the Four Rivers Association of REALTORS, San Antonio Board of REALTORS, Texas Association of REALTORS, and the National Association of REALTORS. I participate in real estate conferences to stay current on matters that will affect my clients as well as ensuring I am knowledgeable about the latest developments in Guadalupe and surrounding counties.
