After graduating high school in Krum, she played collegiate softball and went on to graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Real Estate. She began her career in residential property management, later moved on to Corporate Real Estate, and then found her true love to be Residential Real Estate.
Vanessa is passionate about the needs and goals of her clients. She specializes in bringing peace of mind to first time home buyers that are uncertain of the home buying process, and to sellers that have previously struggled with selling their homes on their own or with another agent. Her business approach is direct and successful: she listens to the client's needs and matches them to the right property, then assures an honest and efficient transaction. She prides herself on being her clients real estate agent for life.
She is married to Rob Fillingim and the stepmom to their teenage son Ryan. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family playing golf, being outside, or spending time with family and friends. She is also an avid lover of all animals, and is currently the mom to 3 dogs and 3 cats.
