An avid sports fan, Miriam spends much of her free time cheering on her favorite sports teams, especially her son's baseball teams. She is also an active community volunteer; serves as a World Vision Child Ambassador; holds the Philanthropy Chair for CTXPHC; is a local Rotarian; assists with fundraising for several high school and sports organizations; and serves as a Sunday School Teacher at her church. Prior to earning her license, Miriam earned her MBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Texas at Austin and was instrumental in building and developing several local travel and hospitality businesses.
