Becker Properties founder, Philip B.W. Becker, is a highly-motivated entrepreneur with a love for real estate. Philip was raised in San Antonio, Texas with his younger brother and sister. His parents, Randy and Geri Becker, are both former US Air Force officers who decided San Antonio was the place to raise their family. Philip has always been an entrepreneur. He started at age 8 with Kids News, a neighborhood newspaper. Hes also always had a true passion for real estate. For example, Philip spent many Sunday mornings watching real estate shows rather than cartoons and never missed the Real Estate section of the San Antonio Express News. After finishing high school more than a year early, Philip started his first real business at 17. In 2009, he made his move into real estate with the founding of Becker Properties. Philip quickly became involved with the REALTOR organization. He was named the San Antonio Board of REALTORS Rookie of the Year in 2010. He was elected Vice-Chairman of the Greater San Antonio YPN for 2010, and served as the groups Chairman in 2011. Philip also served on the Texas Association of REALTORS YPN Advisory Council in 2011 and the TAR Political Affairs Committee in 2012. He is a graduate of the Texas REALTORS Leadership Program. Philip served as the youngest member of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS Board of Directors from 2012-2014. He was appointed to the Texas CRS Chapter Board of Directors as chair of Public Relations and Co-chair of Chapter with a Heart for 2013. He was named the Texas CRS Chapters 2013 CRS of the Year and was the 2014 Secretary of the Executive Board. He was the peer-to-peer (profiles of people to watch) national featured agent in CRSs The Residential Specialist Magazine in summer 2014. He was named one of the 30 under 30 from REALTOR Magazine in 2014. Philip also serves on the Texas Association of REALTORS MLS / Technology Committee and, in 2013 and 2014, on The National Association of REALTORS Housing Opportunity Committee. He serves CRS National as well, as a member of both the Product Review and National Nominating Committees. Philip is a Golden R major investor in RPAC and a member of the RPAC Presidents Circle. Philip has been appointed to the National Association of REALTORS Strategic Thinking Advisory Committee for 2016. Last, but certainly not least, Philip served on the National Association of REALTORS Young Professionals Network Advisory Board for 2013 and 2014, is the 2015 Vice-Chairman of YPN, and has been confirmed as the 2016 National Chair. He is a known real estate speaker with NAR, CRS and numerous state and local boards. Philip and Becker Properties are members of the San Antonio, Austin and Houston, Texas Boards of REALTORS. When he has spare time, Philip enjoys being outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends and playing with his Beagle, Shiloh.
