God had given me the opportunity to further my career after a major accident in 2005 happened on I35 which left me unable to attend work. I had always wanted to study real estate but because of the long work hours and a lot of travel with my previous job, I was unable to devote time to study. Deciding not to waste the valuable time just sitting doing nothing, I enrolled in real estate courses through Baylor University. Once I was able to return to work full time, I worked real estate part time after obtaining my license in 2006. After putting in 25 years and driving 100 miles everyday to work, I decided it was time to concentrate on real estate full time. So in July 2010, I retired from working 8-5, and have been enjoying meeting new people in the real estate market, helping those wishing to sell their properties or buying a home. Real estate is a non-stop profession and one very fulfilling. The first time home buyers are my favorite.

Selling or buying a home is a huge decision and one not to be decided on lightly. Before making that decision, please consult with a real estate agent who can help you every step of the way to owning your new home or selling your current home.

A little bit about myself so you will know what kind of person I am. My family is very important to me: my husband, sons and grandchildren. I am a very enthusiastic person, who can sometimes get on everyone's nerves because they tell me I am too "bubbly"...whatever that is suppose to mean! I love life in general and thoroughly enjoy living it. God has given me the good grace of having my health and my bubblyness (is that a word). I never forget to thank Him for the prayers He has answered and the people He has put in my life. I am an ole' softy for old movies, love stories, westerns, etc. Good music keeps me bouncing around. I sing along to all the old rock-n-roll, gospel and good ole country. I can't carry a tune very well, but I don't care, I still sing out for joy. My favorite hymn is, I Know You Are Near. It brings tears to my eyes each time. I love all the seasons although here in Texas we really have only two - summer and winter (and it's not much of a winter). My favorite would have to be winter, not because of the cold, but because I can cuddle up with a good book and blanket and watch the fire burning in the fireplace. Spring time would be next for all the life that is transpiring before your eyes as the flowers bloom, trees are putting on new leaves and the spring rains with the birds singing their merry songs. Fall is next on the list...the many colors of the leaves as the vegetation is getting ready for the winter time. Summer is my least favorite, because here in Texas it is just too hot. But it has it's good points - the many barbeques with family and friends. I like people in general and like meeting and making new friends. Gotta' have my Dr. Pepper first thing in the morning to kick start the day.
