He has a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Concordia University at Austin. Prior to becoming a realtor, Israel worked in the technology and design fields for over eight years where his experiences included art direction, localization, and project/team management.

He is also passionate about sustainability and green building and has earned a Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors.
