I was born and raised in Post, Texas, on a cotton farm, between Post and Tahoka. Lubbock was, at least, a once-a-week trip, for shopping, groceries, doctors, and/or entertainment. After High school, I attended Tarleton State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Sciences. I taught Home Economics and Special Education in the Hill Country and DFW areas for 12 years. I enjoyed my time as a teacher and a Special Education Coordinator; it taught me more about relating to people, being organized, being meticulous, and being an advocate. After almost 30 years, being away from Post, I decided to move my daughter, now 11, and I to Lubbock, to be closer to family, after the tragic passing of my husband. Once here, I decided that it was time to start working on the real estate career that I had been talking about, with my husband, for several years. I am excited to begin my career with NextHome CORE Realty!!! Tim and Janet have been and continue to be wonderful supporters.
I look forward to working with clients, helping them walk through the process of selling or buying real estate for their next adventure!
