Joe is originally from Ohio, but has lived in the NoVa/DC area since 2000. He is a proud graduate from the University of Toledo with a BA in History, and a graduate of Clemson University in South Carolina with an M.Ed in Counseling and University Administration. Prior to entering the world of Real Estate, Joe worked in Higher Education for a number of years overseeing various parts of the Residence Life and Housing programs at college campuses. He was an Area Coordinator at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where he oversaw the first year housing of nearly 1,300 students and was also the Director of Housing and Residence Life at Marymount University in Arlington. Joe has been involved in Real Estate since 2004, working with clients from all different backgrounds and nationalities. During this time he formed The Reef Team, consisting of its current members: Peter Nguyen and Chris Weathers. From 2004-2016, they were affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, where they were named one of the top 5 teams for the company in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Since moving to the area, Joe has fallen in love with all there is to do and see, especially with everything related to history. As a native Ohioan, he is a die-hard Ohio State Buckeye fan (OH-IO). When he is not working, you can usually find him watching a Buckeye, Washington Nationals game, or other sporting event, or taking some time and enjoying the local vineyards with his partner Peter.
