Your home is likely to be your most valuable material asset. I would not expect you to use my services to sell or to purchase this asset without first having some knowledge of whom and what I am. The following is a brief resume that I offer to introduce myself to you. I trust that it allows you to be more comfortable in choosing me as your real estate professional.

RESUME

I was born in the City of Richmond, and have lived all around the Greater Richmond area urban, suburban, and rural, both North of the James and South of the James. After attending numerous schools throughout the area, I paid for my own college education at Virginia Commonwealth University by raising cattle, exercising horses, waiting tables, and keeping books for small companies.

My husband, Scott, and I have been together since we met in the registration line at VCU in 1971. Our hobbies include renovating houses, hiking and camping, and seeing this great continent along blue highways either from the open cockpit of a 2-seater sports car, or in a truck with a classic Airstream trailer in tow. Together, we raised two wonderful human beings Bryan and Erich who are now grown with lives and loves and children of their own. My family has always been tremendously supportive and understanding of my real estate career.

Before entering real estate sales, I held a full securities license (Series 7) and a life, health, and disability insurance license, and worked my way up from managing the Mutual Funds Department for a securities firm to earning the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Although I enjoyed financial planning, I absolutely had a passion for directing my clients investments in real estate. Its so much more fun talking about real estate than about death and taxes!

My full-time real estate career began amid a recession in 1984. Still, I closed nearly Two Million Dollars in my first full year - at an average sales price of less than Sixty-four Thousand Dollars. Throughout the years, Ive earned numerous sales, training, and leadership awards. All of these successes have occurred because of the tremendous support that has been received from my family, my clients, my company, and my fellow agents in Central Virginia, and from others throughout Virginia, up and down the Eastern Seaboard, and across the nation.

With the support of great folks like you, I have been one of the most productive service people in the real estate industry. Without you, I have no success. I thank you in advance for giving me the opportunity to work with you in meeting your goals. As a Powerhouse of Experience, I assure that you cannot find better real estate service and representation anywhere.

Many thanks,
Diane
