Gloucester Point is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gloucester County, Virginia, United States. It is located on the western side of the mouth of the York River, opposite Yorktown and just south of the mouth of the Rappahannock River. Gloucester Point is home to the College of William & Mary's Virginia Institute of Marine Science and to the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (CBNERR). It is also a popular spot for boating, fishing, and other outdoor recreational activities due to its waterfront location.
