I was raised in Deptford NJ but have deep Chincoteague roots, through my mother who was born, "up the neck". My grandparents home where she grew up, still remains on North Main Street, Chincoteague VA. I consider myself a "Teaguer -hybrid", having spent my summers on the island and returning to NJ every fall for school. After my mom's passing in 2001 my partner and I purchased our first vacation home in the area in February 2002. We then sold that property in Eastwinds and bought our next property on the mainland in Wishart's Point in Atlantic VA. We then sold that property and moved to Corbin Hall, located in Horntown Virginia, where we became permanent residents of the Eastern Shore in 2010. In 2017 after 34 years together
we married at the Holy Trinity Episcopal church in Onancock VA. I became a licensed realtor in 2014 and began working as a real estate agent for Dockside Properties. I became a partner at Dockside in April of 2020. In addition to my duties at Dockside Properties I am currently the Secretary on the Board of Directors of the Eastern Shore Association of Realtors. I am also the
liaison for the Outreach Committee. I believe in volunteering and giving back to the community.
I am proud of the role I play in the Warm Hands Warm Hearts, clothes and Food drive in coordination with the Chincoteague Island, Home for the Holidays tour each December.
