I grew up the oldest of three in Cross Lanes, WV, just outside of Charleston, WV. While growing up I spent my summers on my grandparents farm riding horses and enjoying country life In 1990 I relocated to Charlotte, NC and shortly after started a family. While living in Charlotte, NC I worked as a Financial Paraplanner for a top investment firm, Parsec Financial Management.
In 2005 I moved to the Roanoke Rapids Lake Gaston area. Utilizing my experience with investments it made sense to transition into real estate.I began my Real Estate career in the Roanoke Rapids Lake Gaston area in 2006. After my first year in the business I was honored as the Rookie of Year for the Roanoke Valley Lake Gaston Board of Realtors. In 2007 I was elected by my peers to serve on the Roanoke Valley Lake Gaston Board of Realtors. I have served as a Director for 2008, 2009, Secretary for 2010 and currently, President Elect for 2011 and currently serve as President for the board. In addition to the Roanoke Valley Lake Gaston Board, I am actively involved with the Northampton County Chamber of Commerce, Halifax County Chamber of Commerce, Roanoke Valley Leadership, NC Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

In doing so I have obtained my GRI (Graduate, Realtor Insitute), SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource) and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative)designations.
