I earned the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation from the Realtor Land Institute. Land use planners are generally members of the American Planning Association and I earned the American Institute of Certified Planners designation (AICP).
Some commercial activity occupies my work; I earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2001. Recently I earned a Masters Business Administration from the business school at the University of Mary Washington (2012) with a concentration in accounting; which makes for a more disciplined approach to solving issues.
A combination of some book smarts and experience of over 33+ years does not make me right all the time or have all the answers; I know enough to know better. Listening is important. Time is very dear.
