Colby is native to Little Rock, Arkansas. He is a graduate of James Madison University, where he received a BS in Heath Sciences. He found his way to Virginia by way of collegiate baseball where he played outfield and pitcher for the Dukes. It was at JMU where he found his beautiful bride, Carleigh. Carleigh was born and raised in Williamsburg, daughter to local agent and Tribe radio broadcaster Jay Colley.
After graduation, Colby launched his career in sales at the number one selling General Motors store in the nation. It was there he learned valuable lessons in the importance of customer service and customer satisfaction. Colby was awarded the Mark of Excellence from GMC for Outstanding Product Knowledge and Customer Satisfaction both years he was there.
Colby enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, church softball, and being involved with the church. He values integrity, hard work, and leading by example. He understands that a business is much more than a sale and a dollar. It is about developing lasting relationships and networking for the greater good of the community.
