A Virginia resident since 1995, Herbert was born in New England along the coast of Maine. He attended Brigham Young University and found international Ballroom Dance as a passion and team sport. Graduated with a BA in English, pursued a Juris Doctorate and spent eight years with DC litigation law firms. Obtained an MS in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and spent five years in mortgage finance. Then in 2007, during the worst housing recession in history, Herbert made a bold move and jumped into the fallen real estate market. Using both a legal and finance background, Herbert serves his client's in a highly successful manner.

When he is not working, you can find Herbert enjoying time with his wife, Jenna Beth Stott, and their four children, who provide the meaning and "Why" to his life. His passions are sailing and supporting Washington Nationals Baseball. Go Nats.
