Wendy moved to the Charlottesville area with her family when she was in the fourth grade. Her father moved his family here to become the Sports Editor of the Daily Progress. She continued her education the Albemarle County Schools and after that worked as a Nanny for many families, opened her own state licensed day school, and afterschool program as well as teaching in several local preschools. She began her Real Estate career in 2009. Wendy has been married to her best friend Paul for over twenty years and they have two children, Emily and Brock. Their family lives in Northern Albemarle County on Riverview Farm which has been in Paul's family for generations
