John has been in sales and customer service for his entire working career. He is a licensed Realtor, as well as the Sales Manager at Berkley & Veller. John holds NARs Green Designation, and has training and experience in (and passion for) green building and energy efficiency issues. He is also an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and has earned the ePRO designation.
John has been in the Brattleboro area since 1991, and is known for providing superlative customer service. He was voted the Southern Vermont Board of Realtors (SVBR) Realtor of the Year for 2011. John is a state representative to the Vermont Realtor's Board of Directors, and is the Chairperson of the Governance Committee. He served for 8 years on the Board of Directors for SVBR, as Vice-president and then as a Director at large. John was an SVBR representative to the MLS Board of Directors, was a member of the Governmental Advisory Committee, and helped to create SVBRs website. John teaches the Realtor portion of the First-time Home-buyer classes for the Windham & Windsor Housing Trust. In addition, he was on the Brattleboro Food Coops Board of Directors for 8 years, acting as Board President for 7 of those years. John lives with his wife and their two wonderful young adults, Tyler & Guthrie, on a small farm in Westminster, and tries to find enough free time to ride his road bike.
