Cavalero is an unincorporated community in Snohomish County, Washington. It is located along the western shore of Lake Stevens, at the intersection of Cavalero Road and Lakeland Drive. The town was named after a local Native American chief, Chief Cavalero.

The first settlers in the area arrived in the late 1800s and established lumber mills and small farms. The town grew slowly until the completion of Interstate 5 in the 1960s, which brought more people to the area. The population reached its peak in the early 2000s, and has since declined slightly.

Cavalero is home to several parks and trails, including Cavalero Park and Cavalero Trail. The town is also home to a number of businesses, including a gas station, convenience store, restaurant, and auto repair shop. In recent years, it has become a popular destination for outdoor recreation, fishing, and camping.
