I grew up in the community, born and raised in Lewis County. I attended school in Onalaska, home of the Loggers, where I played football in middle school and all through high school. By high schools graduation I had also graduated from Centralia College with an AA Degree utilizing the running start program. Following high school, I spent a year at bible college in Oregon which led me to serving at my home church as a youth pastor. A short time later, I met the love of my life, Brice (Voetberg), taking piano lessons from her and we were married within a year. The last 9 years (and counting) of our marriage have been spent raising our 5 sweet children (& one more on the way), pastoring, managing Fiddlers Coffee and, in the last couple years, working as a Realtor.
I am passionate about God, my wife and my kids. I enjoy a good cup of coffee, the Seahawks if theyre playing well, Settlers of Catan, long road trips, and learning new things. I believe in honesty and hard work and strive to do whatever I do with all my heart.
