Attracted to its location, beauty and small community, Ditte moved from Vashon Island to San Juan Island, where she found her roots, bought property and is now building her house here.

Over the years Ditte bought, remodeled and sold three properties of her own. She has always had a passion for construction, interior design and is a color expert. For several years she worked with some of the top real estate agents in Marin County, CA, preparing homes for sale. She is good at working with the possibilities that exist within each property, and elevate its visual presentation for optimal sales.
She lives with her partner, a well-connected long time island resident, home and septic designer and land consultant.

When she is not working, Ditte can be found painting at a scenic spot, hiking, or volunteering at the local museum. She grew up in Holland and France and likes to say that: vastness, beauty and possibilities drew her to America, and became a US citizen. she speaks french, german, dutch (and english).
