1. Lake Shore, Washington is a small town located in Snohomish County.
2. In 1905, the Lake Shore Hotel was built and became a popular destination for tourists until it burned down in 1941.
3. In 1912, the Lake Shore State Bank opened and served the community until it closed in 1933.
4. During World War II, the town served as a training camp for Navy pilots and was later home to an Army Reserve center.
5. In the 1950s, the area was used to develop a private airstrip that later became known as Harvey Field Airport.
6. On July 4th, 2009, a natural gas pipeline explosion destroyed three homes and damaged several others in the town of Lake Shore.
