Electric City is a village located in Grant County, Washington, United States. It was first settled in the early 20th century and incorporated on December 7, 1965. The village is named for the Grand Coulee Dam's electric generating plant, which was built nearby in the 1930s. As of the 2010 census, the population of Electric City was 1,631.

Historical events in Electric City include the completion of the Grand Coulee Dam in 1941, which brought in thousands of workers to the area and allowed for large scale irrigated farming. In 1965, the village of Electric City was formally incorporated by a vote of its citizens. The same year, the Electric City water tower was completed and is currently the tallest structure in town. Additionally, in 1971, a nuclear power plant was constructed just outside of town near Hanford Reach National Monument. This plant operated until 1986 and provided jobs to many local residents.
