1. North Bonneville was established in 1846 as a trading post by local Native American tribes, the Wanapum and the Klickitat.

2. In 1855, the Washington Territorial Legislature officially established the town of North Bonneville.

3. In 1858, a bridge across the Columbia River was completed at North Bonneville, becoming the first bridge to span the river at that point.

4. During World War II, North Bonneville was home to a Naval Ammunition Depot, which was built to store ammunition for the Pacific Fleet.
