We have been on this lake for 30 years. The lake level goes up and down depending on the weather. Even when all lake levels were extremely low a few years ago, we still had wate r. Winter snow melt and summer rains keep it full. As you know we got neither all last year. Hence the level is low this year. With a normal snowfall of 45-50 , the lake will come up 3-4 feet in depth with the melt.

The best thing is the water is always clean and clear no matter the level. No green. It's a quiet lake, good for fshing, tremendous for kayaking and canoes. Perfect for swimming. We never worry about the level. We walk the perimeter of the lake, ice fish and snow shoe during the winter. The road is quiet since we don't have through traffic. If you're looking for tranquility and charming sunrise and sunsets this is the side of the lake to live on.
