The Wyoming Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), a commercial affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, proudly announces the election of Ted Harvey as the new President. Ted was elected by unanimous vote from the membership. Ted is the Broker/Owner of United Country | Yellowstone Land Consultants in Cody. He has been a member of RLI since 2014. In his position as President of the Wyoming Chapter of RLI, Ted will serve a two-year term on the Executive Committee. Ted brings extensive experience to the position having sold ranch properties throughout Wyoming from 40 to 55,000 acres, and more than $60M in sales transactions. Teds goals for the chapter are to grow the membership by leading the organization to implement educational courses beyond real estate licensing requirements. Ted says We are working on classes specifically related to land transitions, such as water rights, grazing leases, mineral rights, conservation easements, and title and contract issues. Over the next two years we will offer a series of classes to our members and real estate agents in Wyoming who are interested in becoming true land professionals. We will also be hosting ranch tours on properties listed by our members. This is great exposure for our clients, and excellent networking with some of the best brokers in the state. Teds experience and dedication to RLI and the industry will be an invaluable asset to the board of directors, our members and most importantly to the Buyers and Sellers we serve. In 2016 Ted became the 11th real estate agent in Wyoming to earn the elite Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation. This designation is given to land real estate agents that are proven to be the most educated, experienced, and trustworthy land sales professionals in the industry. All ALCs have completed a rigorous education program, are certified to have a depth of experience in the industry, and are recognized as the most elite land real estate agents. Ultimately, our goal is to offer added value to our clients, by expanding our knowledge base related to land real estate transactions.
