For the last 27 years Ive had the good fortune of living in San Mateo County, one of the most geographically diverse areas of Northern California. San Mateo has an array of beautiful bayside, hill side, mountain and ocean side cities and towns that continue to marvel us residents, and visitors alike. San Mateo is a fantastic place to work, enjoy a multitude of recreational activities, raise a family and be part of a thriving, demographically diverse community. The mild climate allows for all year access to the outdoors and city amenities. Its proximity and central location vis--vis San Francisco and the Silicon Valley is quite ideal.
In the last 17 years, as a real estate agent and broker, I have particularly enjoyed helping individuals and families achieve the dream of owning their precious piece of San Mateo County. Relatively high median prices in the county reflect inventory levels that generally trail behind consumer demand. It is my pleasure to guide clients tirelessly through a process that initially appears daunting but, time and time again, results in success.
As a native of the small Central American country of Nicaragua, I came from a culture that highly values learning multiple languages and developing understanding of the world via travel and studies abroad, which I have done pretty extensively in the Americas and Europe where my ancestry is from. I am fluent in Spanish and Italian. I first came to California as a student of Economics Science, a subject that still fascinates me and lead me to a 20 year, executive career in International Banking and Finance with great institutions in San Francisco. It was then that I developed the sacred respect for the fiduciary responsibility of practitioners to their clients. It is this respect for the clients interests that guides my approach to serving real estate customers today. The client always comes first, is treated with superior respect, and all communications must be transparent and helpful.
The city of San Mateo has been a haven for my family life since 1992, the year our eldest son was born. My husband and I fell in love with the charm of the Peninsula cities and were fortunate enough to find a wonderful home in a terrific neighborhood. We soon added one more boy to the family, sent our first son to Kindergarten and dove right into our involvement with the supportive community of the Beresford Manor and Hillsdale neighborhoods. Our children have been raised by the village that has been our community, made of Beresford Park and Recreation Center for starters, church and school families, organized children sports, scouting groups related to St. Gregory Parish, Abbott Middle school and Hillsdale High School, where the Friday night lights of football games now shine quite bright on our student/athlete, a Junior who will soon follow in his brothers footsteps and move on to the college life.
It will be my distinct pleasure to share with you my intimate knowledge of the real estate transaction process and of our wonderful San Mateo and/or Peninsula markets.
