She also has a strong sense of community. Lisa has served on a committee for Gilda's Club, a local non profit organization for people living with cancer and as a co-chair & main sponsor for their 2003, 2004 & 2005 Annual Art Auction raised over 110,000. Previously she served the on Board of Realtors, on the Board of Directors for Margate JCC, the Board of Directors & a Trustee for the Shore Mother's Association, currently a Cub Scout Leader, on the Strategic Planning Committee for the Northfield Community School & is active with several various local projects & events throughout each year. She attended University of Miami & Florida International University & graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management. She lived in Las Vegas & worked for Mirage Resorts for seven years, where customer service and exceeding expectations was the norm. While there, Lisa wrote & published a well received book on Las Vegas employment. Lisa lives off-shore with husband Mike Russo & children Haley & Logan.
