Born and raised in Batesville, I'm a graduate of South Panola High School and Ole Miss, where I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees in education. I began working in real estate in 2012, retired from education two years later, and have worked full time in real estate ever since.
I'm married to Howard Hawkins, and we have one son, Calvin, who's an Ole Miss graduate, too, and is a licensed realtor working with me. Calvin is also an FAA licensed drone pilot, and his skills add so much to our listings! In 2019, we opened our own private brokerage, Landhawk Realty, LLC, and we both enjoy marketing beautiful properties and working with great people.
During my free time I enjoy reading, writing, hunting, photography, gardening, fishing, wildlife-watching, and just about anything that has to do with nature and outdoor living. Helping people is a passion of mine, so real estate is the perfect career to make that happen.
In addition, I especially enjoy the photography and website work of showcasing and marketing beautiful properties. We primarily work with sellers and love a big property listing challenge. We've been very fortunate to keep an ongoing waiting list of sellers, and they are certainly appreciated. We've listed & sold land tracts in the following counties: Panola, Lafayette, Tate, Yalobusha, Quitman, Tallahatchie, & Benton and. have others in progress.
