She was named marketer of the year for the San Antonio Marketing Association and has enjoyed many years of success as a San Antonio business-minded individual, team player, and entrepreneur. Elisa supported the US Air Force at Brooks City Base for 5 years as program manager. She is involved in the community and with her church in Bulverde. She dedicated many hours each year to serving her community and giving back through a variety of charities.
