A native of the Bay Area (Lafayette, CA), Talbot spent time vacationing in North and South Lake Tahoe throughout her childhood years. In 1991, Talbot moved to North Lake Tahoe to spend a summer with her colleagues from St. Mary's College. Talbot fell in love with the area while exploring all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in communications followed by traveling around Europe for a summer, Talbot moved back to North Lake Tahoe/Truckee and has been a resident for over 25 years, during which time she earned a master's degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Talbot's background includes more than 25 years in serving clients in marketing and applies this same high-level service to her clients. She specialized in real estate and spearheaded corporate marketing efforts for Sierra Sotheby's International Realty, Chase International and the Town of Truckee, and also served as director of marketing at Tahoe Donner Association for over four years. With a comprehensive understanding of destination promotion for real estate. lifestyle and national luxury brands, Talbot has an insider knowledge of the North Lake Tahoe and Truckee markets. Talbot's background in customer service coupled with her knowledge of the region give her a strong advantage for her client base. Talbot enjoys the entire process in real estate from start to finish to help her clients buy or sell their properties.
Talbot resides in Truckee with her two daughters, Sophia and Katarina, and her fianc, Jim. The family takes full advantage of the mountain lifestyle in Truckee, enjoying skiing, hiking, dirt-biking, golfing, and camping, while participating in many volunteer efforts community-wide.
Talbot is a 16-year member of The Rotary Club of Truckee and was president of the club in 2010. She currently is on the board of directors for the Truckee Tahoe Community Theater and in its 14th year, she owns and operates the Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop events.
