I am the Owner/Broker of three Coldwell Banker franchises in Plumas County: Coldwell Banker Kehr/OBrien in Lake Almanor, Coldwell Banker Pioneer in Quincy and Coldwell Banker Chandler in the Portola/Blairsden area . And, I believe that the real estate company you choose should be one that most represents your values and desire for integrity.
I have been an agent in Lake Almanor since 1990 and truly care for my community and the real estate profession. Kehr/OBrien Real Estate was recently recognized by Coldwell Banker CEO, Budge Huskey for 30+ years of contribution to the real estate community, something for which I am proud.
My real estate partner, Susan Bryner, has lived in Lake Almanor since 2003 and began her career in real estate in 2006. She has a background in psychology, is the co-owner of a bookstore in Chester and has served on several non-profit boards in our community.
As a team, we bring together the best of our combined experience in real estate and knowledge of the area and skills in marketing and negotiation.

Tim is a five-star guy. If youre not familiar with the overall area and the real-estate landscape, youll find out over time that hes the man. Knows everybody, can make things happen. Hes also a handshake person, we learned we can rely on his promises. The only reason I gave 4 stars on responsiveness is that as Bay-area people we had to get used to the slower pace (with everybody) in the area. But to Tims credit, he adjusted to our communication needs via cell-phone, text, email. And without his direct involvement (e.g., we had something to resolve with the building department in Quincy), things would have progress at a slower speed. Tims post-closure behavior is superior. Hes available for questions as you ramp up into your newly acquired home, he provides contacts of the right people. All that is very helpful as at first you may not have any neighbors yet you can rely on, or bother with your issue. Tim fills that role. If youre not local like us, such support matters a lot. We can highly recommend Tim and his support staff. Good people.

Tim OBrien is about as good as you get in Real Estate Agents/ Brokers. Hes honest and realistic. And he has been in the area so long, hes almost a native. We bought an older cabin at the lake and it wasnt an easy transaction- Tim brought creative ideas to the table and in the end, everyone was happy. More professional credibility: Dogs in the office, lots of family helping out, organizes local charity events and a has mean golf swing! Work with him and you wont be sorry.

It was an absolute pleasure having Tim OBrien help find the right house for us. Not only was he very responsive to questions and requests before we purchased our cabin, he has helped us long after with getting familiar with local contacts and any concerns that came up. Also, because Tim was so on top of the market, he let us know the day that our dream house fell out of escrow. We were able to make the first offer and ended up getting our dream house!!!
