She has been the "new kid on the block" a lot, moving many times throughout her life, most recently in 2013 when she moved to the Houston area with her husband and three children from the Pacific Northwest.

When not busy pounding the pavement and leaving no stone unturned for her real estate clients, you can find Karen baking her famous molasses cookies, playing board games with her family, and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturdays in the fall. Go Dawgs! She also enjoys taking impromptu road trips to the College World Series, watching The Godfather, her small group bible study, and drinking Diet Coke instead of water.
