Nola was easy to work with and knowledgeable about the area. While she did offer her thoughts regarding property and land, based on her experience, she didn't do it in a way to try and change our opinion. Nola was responsive to showing me/us properties and land and did so whenever she didn't have a previous appointment.
Much of the time required to negotiate price and trade offers took place while we were out of town and with a selling agent that wasn't attentive to our (the buyer's) needs. Nola did a great job of leaving emails and voice mails with the seller agent and kept me apprised on the status of our offer and counter offer(s).

We wanted someone with experience who knew the area well because this was a crazy time in real estate. Nola Goodchild seemed extremely knowledgeable from the moment she met us. In addition it was easy to reach her in person, by phone, or through emails. So many other realtors couldn't be bothered getting back to us in a timely fashion--or at all.
Nola was always on the ball with paperwork, drafting what was necessary ASAP. She knew the larger surrounding area and was able to provide information so we could narrow down where to look. She was careful with handling the monies, ensuring the funds made it safely and on time. She drafted several contracts for us before we found "the one" and was always careful to ensure there were no errors. When we did go into contract, the appraisal was lower than we hoped and Nola negotiated a $10,000 drop in price. She also pushed for us to get the home warranty we wanted. I admire her negotiating skills.
In addition, Nola was extremely diligent with the inspections, ensuring they would take place on time and advising us of any problems for us to vet. Once we were in contract, she stayed on top of the other party to ensure any mitigation on their part was performed. Often, the other realtors were slow to respond, but she kept after them to get what we needed answered or what we needed done. She gave of her time as needed, attending all inspections and always took us to see a listing as soon as possible.
I truly believe that during this hot and crazy real estate market, Nola coupled her background knowledge with current trends and predictions as best as possible to provide sound advice and that advice was priceless.

Right from the start Nola and Bill were expedient with everything.
