I didn't know what to expect from a realtor when selling a home but now I know that Ryan sets the gold standard.
I was a little worried when my husband & I started the selling process because we are both busy and don't have much experience with real estate. Ryan was able to meet with us after work, showed us market research for pricing, and helped to set our overall timeline and expectations. Ryan even helped to refer qualified vendors (i.e paint touch ups, cleaning crew, floor touch ups...) to make sure we were open-house ready within a month. I honestly think it would have taken us 4-5 months, and 2-3x the cost, to prepare our condo for selling without Ryan.

My wife and I met Ryan when he was representing the seller when my brother-in-law purchased a property in Santa Monica. We noticed immediately how friendly and experienced he seemed from day 1.
Since then, my wife and I decided to sell our investment property in Hermosa Beach. We owned a townhome 2 blocs from the beach for several years, both as the home we lived in and then turned into a rental.

Pre Sale: Ryan made us feel comfortable and informed with his opinions on the house, the market and what to expect. He managed the minor fix-ups and enhancements that our house needed. He priced us methodically and fairly and kept us informed throughout the process
Listing: Ryan listed our house at a price which we feel was absolutely perfect. We had multiple strong offers with great terms. When all was said and done, we ended up accepting a final offer which we were happy with.
Escrow: Throughout the 30 day escrow, Ryan kept us informed at least a couple times a week as to what was going on, what was to be expected and what we needed to do. He essentially held our hand throughout the process and made things easy.
My wife and I both work and live busy and active lives. We strongly feel that this entire process would have gone differently if we did not have a realtor we could trust in, but Ryan way overate our expectations and needs. We would reco Ryan to any seller in need. 2018
Hands down, Ryan is easily the best realtor I've worked with. The best part about working with Ryan is that he was able to recommend certain upgrades/fixes that would help the property sell while also providing feedback on which property upgrades might not have a significant impact (i.e don't replace the floors before selling - you don't want to choose the colors for the next buyer). Most importantly, Ryan had recommended vendors that could help with any project and that turned out to be both less expensive and better than the ones I could find on my own.
Also, Ryan is responsive, friendly, and dedicated. He answered texts/phone calls when I had questions and helped me close a 14 day escrow. I would highly recommend Ryan if you are buying or selling (I have now used him for both). 2018

Ryan is not only a real estate agent but also holds an MBA, and we were extremely lucky to be able to utilize Ryan's business knowledge to assess our ability to use the sale of our home to get us in to our dream home . While he couldn't promise us that we would get what we wanted for our home, he felt our asking price was reasonable, understood that we couldn't really sell for less, and encouraged us to list to see how the market responded. Because of his reassurance, and no-pressure attitude, we felt the next logical step was to list the house. After the first open house we had an offer for 100k under asking (and market value), through his great communication skills and ability to cultivate relationships quickly, Ryan was able to get the buyer up to asking price....within a week of showing we had a signed offer. Ryan is an amazing real estate agent; through his excellent communication skills, and easy-going manner, he was able to keep us in escrow while we waited for funding on the sale of other home. I believe that, had any other agent been working on our purchase, they might not have been able to keep everything running along smoothly.
