2003 I purchased 25 acre farmstead. I had 16 horses and need to relocated them. I purchased property site unseen. The land size was my only requirement. What could go wrong?. Problem. 4 months after my purchase; I discovered the land was only 12.8 acres. Long story...I was cheated. The land was too small. Carry was my agent. After I discovered problem. I expected her and her company to rally around me. What happened, she and her company went into protection mode. They distance themselves from the situation. They feared lawsuits that we looming. I assured them I am not a lawsuit type of person. I would have to spend approx. $15k to suit the listing company and seller. Adults should be able to sit and work things out. I like Carry as a person, but protection for her clients...non existence. She stated that HER paperwork was correct and I should have taken the $6,000 settlement the seller offered. I knew that was a insult and refused. T
The only thing I valued was the 25 acres. I never complained that the home need, furnace, water heater, well pump. All of these things were undisclosed. My logic was that the home wasn't important..only the 25 acres. I just successfully sold the property using a different.
