Nick Curtis was quick to respond and would allow us to communicate through email as well as by phone. Initially when we were looking for a realtor to help us many others only wanted us to call them and not being able to use my phone while working, this was fairly difficult.
I feel like Nick went above and beyond throughout the whole process. We were first time home buyers so had no knowledge of the process but he explained every step of the way and made everything clear. We never felt rushed at any point and most of the time we wouldn't have many questions as he was great at explaining what we would be doing next.
After closing he took us to the court house and city hall to sort out taxes which was really nice as we were worried this would be a difficult process and wanted to get the exemptions on our taxes as well as make an appeal.
He made it easy to schedule visits to possible houses, being flexible to our schedule and helped us understand the different types of zoning that Macomb has.
We had a somewhat scary final walk through before closing due to the home we bought having a tenant living in it and a few unexpected issues arose, but before we actually closed Nick went in and made the home move in ready and was able to correct all the issues so we could enjoy our move in day and the transition went smoothly. Me and my family all couldn't have been happier.
